Steve popped by yesterday to check on my diy demolition job, he seemed impressed (and slightly amused). They were on site first thing this morning and wow, wow, wow! I was unprepared for their progress on first day. In addition to removing the beautiful panels in the hall foyer (carefully so that they can go back up), they removed the remaining floor boards (tongue and groove so not an easy job to get out in one piece), cut and removed the beams the house was almost sitting on, and dug out trenches for footings!
